Science & Songs Retreat

Come spend some time at White Oak Savanna in the beautiful driftless region of Wisconsin.  The Science and Songs Retreat is a chance to take a break from screens and experience the benefits of nature. As an extension of the Banjo Astro After Dark program, this retreat will encourage participants to see natural science and the arts as partners in explaining the world around us.  Programs will include astronomy talks, guided stargazing, songwriting sessions, nature walks and campfire jams.  Our grounds will be open for hiking and camping so you can take the weekend to slow down and greet Spring.  This is a bring your own food event.  Campfires will be going for cooking and a trip into town to restaurants and groceries is only a few minutes away.

Price: $40 for the weekend, $20 for kids, $20 camping
